How HeyDaniel works
A quick overview of HeyDaniel's philosophy, capture methods, and surfacing model.
01
What is HeyDaniel?
HeyDaniel is a life assistant built on a simple premise: capturing a task should cost zero effort, and surfacing the right task at the right moment should require zero thought.
Most life assistants are optimized for management: they give you inboxes to triage, lists to groom, and weekly review rituals. HeyDaniel assumes you have better things to do.
02
Capture
HeyDaniel captures tasks from wherever you are:
Telegram. Send a message to Daniel. Captured instantly, synced everywhere.
Location reminders. Set location-based reminders. Walk into the supermarket and Daniel surfaces your shopping list. Leave the office and he reminds you to call someone.
Google Calendar. Syncs your schedule so Daniel knows what's coming up.
Browser extension. Coming soon. Highlight text, right-click, capture with full context.
03
Surfacing
HeyDaniel surfaces tasks based on context: your location, time of day, what app you're using, and how you've behaved in the past.
No notifications screaming at you. No overdue badges turning red. Just the right task, at the moment you're most likely to act on it.
04
Zero maintenance
There is no inbox in HeyDaniel. There is no weekly review. Tasks are either done, deferred automatically, or quietly archived when they become irrelevant.
The goal is a life assistant you can use without managing it.
